Company Overview

ABADIE is a nationally recognized professional and executive team focused on the development, operations, commercialization, and management of Oil, Gas, and LNG midstream assets and energy-related portfolio companies.

ABADIE transformed from a traditional engineering and consulting firm to directly developing and leading investments in both midstream and energy ventures through its industry-leading Midstream Infrastructure Development Group ("MIDG") and Deepwater Port Development Group ("DPDG").

ABADIE’s team consists of highly specialized and experienced energy professionals, licensed engineers, and executives representing a continuous decade of experience working together for major oil and gas companies all over the United States, including both domestic and international commodity traders and developers.

Since its founding in 2013, The ABADIE team has had the honor of working alongside the nation’s best and brightest providing economic solutions to complex midstream infrastructure obstacles and developing several marquee oil, gas, and LNG projects around the Gulf Coast.

2013 - Company Founded, Offering Cathodic Protection and Project Management Services in Louisiana, Texas, and the Gulf of Mexico
2013 - Began Operating Crude Oil Pipeline Assets in Louisiana
2014 - Acquired first Pipeline Interest, Consultations on Major Midstream Acquisitions and Divestments
2016 - Licensed Engineering Firm, Began Multi-Discipline Engineering Services
2017 - Expanded Geographical Coverage Across the United States, Including Major Crude Oil and LNG Projects

Leadership

  • Tyler M. Abadie, P.E.

    Founder & Chief Executive Officer

    Mr. Abadie is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ABADIE, with duties focused on Midstream Infrastructure and Deepwater Port Development. His leadership, communication skills, and technical capabilities have been fundamental in the development, application, licensing, commercialization, financing, and engineering of several marque U.S. LNG and Crude Oil midstream operations and deepwater ports.

    Mr. Abadie has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University, and a Climate Change Leadership Certification from Cornell’s eLearning program.

    Mr. Abadie is a multi-state licensed Professional Engineer.

  • Hollis Gibbs, P.E., PMP

    Chief Operations Officer

    Mr. Gibbs has over a decade of experience in midstream operations, engineering, project management, and integrity management. He is responsible for overseeing large-scale capital and maintenance projects, including commissioning a 1.6MM bpd pipeline, meter stations, and tank farm.

    Prior to ABADIE, he served as Zone Project Engineer for ExxonMobil Pipeline Company, managing several capital projects, in crude oil, refined products, and chemicals, while leading business development, engineering, ops integration, and contractor management.

    He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana and Texas.

  • David Allison

    Chief Commercial Officer

    Mr. Allison serves as ABADIE’s Chief Commercial Officer. He is responsible for originating and leading the development of infrastructure investment opportunities for ABADIE and its financial partners.

    Prior to joining ABADIE, Mr. Allison held business development roles of increasing responsibility for various privately held midstream companies, including Rosefield Pipeline and Crimson Midstream.

    Mr. Allison holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from Rice University.

  • Hailey Abadie

    Vice President & General Manager

    Ms. Abadie joined ABADIE during its inception in 2013, playing a key role in evolving business functions as the company transitioned from a startup consulting firm to an established industry leader. She worked closely with leadership to ensure corporate growth initiatives were executed, and oversaw human resources, accounting, safety, and business matters.

    Hailey relocated in 2020 to London, UK, utilizing her skills obtained while at ABADIE to assist a rapidly growing venture in the tech industry. She returned to ABADIE in 2023, where she has resumed her previous duties and oversees the company’s European consultations - providing a presence for strategic partnerships with various commodity traders focused on the robust exportation of U.S. crude oil and LNG.

    Hailey’s early career focused on Environmental Health & Safety, working at Versabar Inc. and Oil States International.

    Hailey holds a BA from Louisiana State University.

  • Brian Buisson, P.E.

    Director of Engineering

    Mr. Buisson serves as ABADIE’s Director of Engineering, and he has been a part of the ABADIE team since August 2016. Mr. Buisson has over 20 years of engineering experience, with 13 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. His experience in the O&G industry has had him take numerous roles such as Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Lead, Mechanical and Process Engineering Lead, Facility Engineer, and Project Manager.

    Mr. Buisson’s O&G work experience includes many areas, but it is mostly focused on oil pipeline systems, LPG pipelines, EOR (CO2) Oil Production, and LNG production. This wide range of experience from detailed small projects to early conceptual development on massive multi-billion dollar projects has facilitated great success at being flexible to meet client needs.

    He holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana.

  • Captain Dan Harris

    Maritime & Port Development

    Captain Harris has been collaborating with ABADIE since 2019 through his company, Harris Consulting, for the ABADIE Deepwater Port Development Group (DPDG) and holds a current USCG Masters Unlimited Oceans License.

    Captain Harris sailed 20 years on US Tankers and 18 years as a LOOP Mooring Master with 2000 combined SPM moorings. He held OCIMF SIRE Vetting approvals for Oil, Chemical, and Gas Tankers under BP/Shell/Exxon.

    Captain Harris has in-depth experience with both Oil Deepwater Ports & LNG Gas projects, extensive experience in port design, marine operations and federal permitting regulations, including FERC, MARAD, and USCG processes.

    Captain Harris has a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from the State University New York Maritime College.
